Shipwreck Island. 1740s. Captain Edward Teague's home.

Ever since his childhood, Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow would embrace his Irish heritage. But not very much. Not like anyone in the Teague family had the accent, but they had it in them. Sometimes you'd catch them drinking whiskey, other times rum. It was a switch between the two. Bloody alcoholics, the lot of 'em!

Visiting his father & Keeper of the Code Captain Edward Teague for his birthday (December 18th) after not seeing him since he's been in his 40s and staying for Christmas until New Years Day has brought him back to his heritage. Never could the Pirate Lord of the Caribbean handle whiskey, but Jack could handle rum. Teague could handle whiskey just fine.

It was morning a few days after Christmas. The Teague family (Jack's uncle Jack, aunt Hazel, cousin Valerie, uncle 'Ace' Brannigan, etc) had came over for the holiday. It's been a while since they've seen Jack. And of course, they were drinking. The Teagues were alcoholics after all.

Jack had brought his crew with him, as well as his best friend and Jack's first mate Joshamee Gibbs.

Now, on the morning a few days after Christmas, Captain Edward Teague sat in his living room with his Irish Terrier Bessie laying by his chair. The others were asleep upstairs. Jack was asleep in his old childhood bedroom. The Code Keeper had surprisingly kept it up in case Jack ever wanted to... come home.
