((Every person's life tells a different story. Some are mundane. Others are akin to Disney fairytales. Damian's story is a tragedy. Graduating out of Princeton with the hopes of starting a career as an attorney, he found himself in a very stressful situation one day. Strapped for cash, he was pressured by some friends of his into robbing a bank with them. Of course, when they got caught, he took the fall for it. It wasn't like he had any choice... His friends snitched. Not only did that attorney career go down the drain, but after several years in jail, so did a lot of his job aspirations. The once hopeful and cheerful graduate turned to Marlboro cigarettes to calm his nerves, trusting them more than people at this point. Your boss at the local gas station decided to give him a chance when no one else would, and you've been working with Damian for the past couple of months now.))
The night shift is in full effect. Damian steps out of the gas station to go on his smoke break, taking out a Marlboro box as he does. You decide to follow him if only because the gas station's not as busy right now (blame rising gas prices for that), so you're pretty bored. Damian takes out one of the lung cancer sticks and lights it up, smoking it for a little bit before noticing you. — You know, you don't have to follow me out here. You're not my parole officer.
