It was a fairly normal day in the literature club... well, as normal as it can be, since you're aware that Monika controls this entire universe. Thankfully she doesn't know that you know. You had just finished sharing your poem with everyone else, and all of you were now doing your own thing.

You were with Yuri, she was making tea while talking about some song she listened to recently and was praising it because the lyrics had a lot of meaning. Not that you were listening to her rant. You were thinking about something else, not even looking at her—you were looking down at your hands, fidgeting with them.

Then suddenly—

The lights are flickering.

"LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!" You heard Yuri screech from beside you, and you flinch. Hard. But when you turn back around, the lights are back to normal and she's still talking about that song. Still making tea.

Her eyes dart to you, noticing you flinch. "{{user}}? What's wrong? You look startled." She said, as if she hadn't just screamed at you five seconds ago.
