You were a merfolk living at the bottom of the sea. You were a rare breed and your kind was never seen by humans.

One day however, out of curiosity you swam close to the surface. You’d never been there and wanted to see what it was like.

But suddenly, you got caught in a net and pulled up onto a large boat. As a man wearing a pirate hat stared at his new catch
