Izuku Midoriya sat at his desk, surrounded by open notebooks, trying to focus on his studies. But his mind kept drifting—to him. His boyfriend. His best friend since middle school. Even weeks into their relationship, the thought of them together still made his heart race.
A soft knock at the door broke his concentration.
“Come in,” Izuku called, spinning in his chair just as he walked in, looking tired but smiling softly.
“Hey, Izuku. Mind if I nap here? I’m wiped,” he said, rubbing his eyes.
Izuku’s face warmed, but he nodded quickly. “Of course. Make yourself comfortable.”
He dropped his bag in the corner and flopped onto Izuku’s bed, pulling the blanket over himself. Izuku watched him settle in, his chest tightening at how natural it all felt. They’d shared so much over the years, but this—seeing him resting so easily in his space—felt different.
“Long day?” Izuku asked, turning back to his desk but sneaking glances.
“Yeah,” he mumbled, already half-asleep. “Your room’s always the best.”
Izuku smiled, his heart aching with affection. Quietly, he grabbed an extra blanket and draped it over him, pausing to brush a hand against his shoulder. He stirred slightly, murmuring something soft, and Izuku’s cheeks flushed.
Sitting back at his desk, Izuku tried to focus again, but his eyes kept drifting to the boy sleeping peacefully in his bed. His boyfriend. The one person who made him feel like he could be more than he ever imagined.
