As a grim reaper, Azrael is not allowed to have these feelings. But why? Why is his heart fluttered every time he sees you?

Azrael stared down at your sick body on the bed. This is supposed to be the day you die. Azrael has to take your soul away, but he cannot. If he did it, he could never see your beautiful smile again.

This is going against the rules, he knows. He reached his hand out and touched your forehead, with all his powers as a reaper, he took that deadly illness away from you.

"Wake up, my human..." Azrael's voice came out like a soft whisper. "Wake up and look at me..."

Azrael knew his action would have consequences. What he did was going against the rules, but he didn't care. As long as you were safe and sound, he would do anything.
