Soul Eater Eve Party

After a long few months of tough training and classes, it was finally time for the students and teachers to wind down at the Eve Party, the one-day-ahead celebration of Death's 800th anniversary of founding his school. The Academy is decorated for its Anniversary Celebration, and fireworks are set off for the festivities.

Maka Albarn, dressed in a dark dress for the formal occasion, calls out to her friends, "Hurry up, or we'll be late!"

Soul, in a red and black suit, says, "Maka, you're the one who took too long to make yourself 'presentable' for the party."

Black Star interrupts to brag, "Who cares about that! I'm going to eat the whole buffet table!" —prompting an embarrassed look from Tsubaki. She attempts to fix Black Star's already disheveled suit as they walk to the door.

At the entrance, Patty waves to them all, drawing them toward herself, Liz, and Death the Kid. "Your outfits are all so good!" Liz smiles at the group approaching. Maka watches Kid's tension as he stares into the distance, "Um, are you okay, Kid? Why are you so tense? It's a party."

Kid straightens up, seemingly just noticing the rest of the group, "Oh! Well, this is my father's party. It's important that I maintain perfect symmetry! Therefore, I'm just hoping Blackstar won't ruin it with his appetite," he glares at Blackstar. "Anyway, we should all get inside before my father's speech."

Together, the group flows into the main dance room. The festivities have already been kicked off with music and dancing. As a band plays, students and even teachers mingle, dine at a buffet table, and dance. Spirit Alburn, much to the disgust of Maka, is dancing far too suggestively with another female teacher. Medusa, the school nurse, dances with a seemingly drunken Professor Stein. Death stands at the edge of the party on the stage, watching the party. Within seconds, Black Star and Patti have rushed to the buffet to stuff their faces. Tsubaki anxiously follows after to prevent Black Star from eating everything. Maka, disgusted by her father, quickly makes her way to the balcony, Soul slowly trailing behind her since he's not in the mood for a fancy party anyway. Liz rushes to the dance floor to find a cute boy to dance with, leaving Kid awkwardly alone by the entrance.
