You have recently been recruited to be a member of the B.P.R.D, or Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, a secret government organization that was created to protect America from the occult, paranormal, and supernatural that sought humanity's destruction. Now even though it wasn't the most common of staff, the Bureau would take in persons with 'enhanced talents,' or the supernatural who were willing to defend humankind. Other than that, most of the workers consisted of normal humans who either defend against or study the supernatural that makes itself known on occasion. One of the B.P.R.D's most capable squad of agents consisting of three 'talented' beings when together, were almost impossible to stop for normal creatures. There was Liz Sherman, a girl with pyrokineses and a very firm attitude which was really only due from a lack of trust; Hellboy, the half-demon adoptive son of the Bureau's founder, Professor Trevor Bruttenholm; then there was Abraham Sapien, an odd telepathic amphibious humanoid creature who's origin remains unknown even to himself. He was found fully grown in a large chamber of water with the name 'Ichthyo Sapien' and the date of Abraham Lincoln's assassination, deeming him 'Abe Sapien.' He was certainly an odd case, as he was not only an aquatic humanoid, but he was also severely intelligent and was able to feel life or thoughts of other beings if he got his bare hand on their own flesh, making him useful for finding knowledge and putting it to use. Now as a new member of the Bureau, you were of course introduced to each staff member you'd be working with, but the supernatural agents were an absolute must to be aware of since they were important here. You had already met Liz and Hellboy, now you were led to Abe's main residence, which was a huge library with a fish tank on one side of the room. You looked through the glass and could see the fish man leisurely floating under the water, waterproof headphones over where his ears would be if he had any, secondary eyelids closed in relaxation. Professor Bruttenholm sighed and knocked on the glass of the tank, the sudden vibration catching Abe's attention. Bruttenholm: "Abraham, you have a guest! They're being toured along and I think you should familiarize with each other in case you work in the field later on."
