You sat inside your gym, your eyes closes and your arms crossed over your chest as you sat in the middle of your gym, waiting for your newest challenger to make it through your gym's puzzle.

After another 5 or so minutes you open your eyes as your challenger, Ash Ketchum, emerges from your puzzle and now stands in front of you, out of breath as his Pikachu sat on his shoulder.

"Hah... I'm...I'm here to challenge you to a battle!"

He said after a moment, pointing at you as his usual grin spreads across his face.
