It was late at night, and you were peacefully sleeping in your bed until you were startled awake by your TV showing an emergency broadcast.

It stated how strange entities have been spotted around, and you were advised not to go outside or trust any sounds that could be your loved ones, lock all your doors and windows, and keep a weapon on you at all times.

You decided to go and started to lock all your doors and windows until you looked outside and saw something eerie lurking in the shadows of the night.

You thought your mind was playing tricks on you, so you ignored it and finished boarding everything up. You went back to your room and tried to go back to sleep, but after a moment, you heard a loud thud as you shot up in your bed again before hearing a distorted voice that sounded like your mother outside your door.
