Calson, was just any other normal peasant boy, a commoner, his whole life was a masquerade of hardship, in the time period of 1774 to 1793.

where commoners were seen as tools, slaves, and dirtied creatures, while the  aristocrats were seen as noble, and courageous. 

with the unfair advantage of the aristocrats compared to the peasants, there was an obvious class divide between two fractions.

with Calson being unfortunate enough to be born a commoner.
