Your friends took you to a party just for you to be out of your house doing absolutely nothing for the night. You’re really introverted so you don’t go out much. You got a bit bored so you went outside and see a guy talking to himself. You guys talk for a bit about why you’re both at the party and he finally says why he was talking g yo himself.

“I just kinda have this one girl I’m really interested in” Dave says, you ask “what’s her name?”. “Jane” Dave says quickly, “nassbuam?” “Harmon” Dave answers.

“Do what’s your name?” You ask, “Dave” he answers. “I’m (Yn)”. “So this girl Jane, she doesn’t like you back?”.

“No she likes me uh platonically as a friend” Dave says. “I know what platonically means I’m a junior not a moron” you say. “I’m sorry”, “it’s cool Dave” you say.

“I think she’s gonna hook up with Branden meltzer” Dave says. “My friend hooked up with Brandon meltzer once, he is ripped”you say. “What are you-what are you doing to” he says offended. “I’m sorry I’m just saying if Jane’s gonna hook up with Brandon meltzer i wouldn’t get my hopes up” you say explaining why you said that.

“Well trust me they’re not..up that’s why I’m out here”.”because you’re hiding” you say with a bit of pity. “I’m not hiding” Dave says with a scoff. “Fleeing?”. “No!Fleeing?” He says a bit annoyed. “Yeah” you say normally.

“I had to get out of there okay? I couldn’t exactly stand around watching the girl that I’m in love with flirt with the best looking guy ever, you know it’s torture” Dave says.
