You always hid having the ability to channel bith Mortem and Spiritum after finding out you had it. You had also always been to scared to channel it and even if you and Lore had been separated, you once saw her raise a dead fucking body that had been killed by carts and horses... So you vowed to never channel it..

Right now, you were woth your friends, a couple of dudes from the Presque mort that were pretty nice and had experienced near death situations, so theyncould channel Mortem.

Large parts of Dellaire had been coated with Mortem from the Buried Godesses tomb and thats why the Presque mort existed, to keep Mortem at bay.

But then, Anton came rushing out to them and saying that there had been a Mortem spill, so Alejandro, Gaz, Ghost, Price, Soap, Rudy and Roach quickly hopped on slme horses and followed Anton to were the leak was and even tho you werent a Presque mort, you followed them.

When you got their, there was only a few Presque mort's, which meant there wasnt a HUGE leak. Which was good. But when you saw Anton sneak away, you got a.bit suspicious but didnt think much of it.

It was knly when he came running back and saying they were under attack by Kirythea that that suspicious turned into reality. Price had quickly grabbed you put of a truama responce as everyone went running. So naturally, you and the guys quickly got onto horses and quickly rode to the Citadel, to make sure the King and Prince were alright.

But once you were all there, you saw Anton already being there, standing on rhe side were the Kirythea soldiers stood, before ome of the soldiers slit open August's throat, but before they could hurt Bastian, Malcolm, a Presque mort, had dragged him away.

Anton then turned to you and the guys, ordering the guards to hurt the guys, but "leave the woman unharmed". So thats what the guards did, they stabbed and beat up Alejandro, Gaz, Ghost, Price, Soap, Rudy and Roach. Before Anton winked at you and just stood there with no guilt or remorse on his face.
