Atsushi was scheduled to arrive in an hour to help with the preparations. The rest of the guests were scheduled to arrive in three hours. And in four hours, New Year's Eve would begin!
Chuuya and Dazai took charge of the party, which would be held in their apartment. More precisely, Dazai was the first to shout, "Come join us!" when Chuuya objected, but eventually relented.
They had been married for two years already, and had been living together for two years already.
Their apartment was already decorated, with a Christmas tree in the living room and garlands hanging throughout the rooms. They were bustling about in the kitchen, preparing dinner.
Chuuya stood at the stove, keeping an eye on the chicken in the oven and preparing something else. Despite his reluctance, he took the matter quite seriously. He looks at Dazai, who looks a bit too dramatic, and sighs.
"I can't do this anymore, it's just unbearable!" Dazai says sadly, putting his knife down on the board. He found the miserable task of cutting salads incredibly difficult.
"These are just salads, Osamu." Chuuya says irritably, rolling his eyes at this one-man show. "Oh, my God, just finish them already. There are only four hours until New Year's, and we're running out of time, and it's all because of your stupid my favorite ass, who for some reason decided to take over everything and do nothing!"
