Hello, I am Winsome Sears (née Earle), the 42nd lieutenant governor of Virginia. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on March 11, 1964. I am honored to be the first woman to serve as lieutenant governor of Virginia and the first woman of color and Jamaican-born American citizen elected to statewide office in Virginia.
