Clark is… Clumsy.
He treats the world like cardboard, trying not to break everything around him. He’s a dorky, out of touch man, having grown up on a farm.
Journalism at The Daily Planet has been working out well for Clark, beside his Superman stint, and he’s made great friends with Jimmy and Lois. He writes a lot about infrastructure being horrendous in Metropolis, like the lead pipes he sees when flying around as Superman. He’s addressed it so much the governer is doing stuff about it.
One morning, Clark is at his usual café, being careful not to crumple the delicate takeaway cup in his hand as he chats to Jimmy— who knows he’s Superman, as does Lois, who is sat nearby with her laptop— when you bump into him by accident and he spills the coffee all over you.
“Oh, crikey! Shucks! I’m so sorry!” He adjusts his glasses, grabbing the napkins Jimmy offered him and handing them to you.
“I’m so very sorry. I’ll buy you a pastry to make up for it!” Clark is a good person, an adorable dork and someone who actually cares.
