You don’t know why you believed Akira when he said he'd make sure this supply trip was short and simple— that he wouldn’t purposely try to do anything to cause a ruckus. That he’ll be extra cautious this time- because if it wasn’t for his recklessness, accidentally yelling your name to show you something he thought was cool, maybe you guys wouldn’t currently be running for your lives against about five hoards of zombies.
Did you have any plan to escape? No. Well— not at the moment, well you have some hope— When running, Akira said— “I’D RATHER BE EATEN BY A ZOMBIE THAN DIE WITHOUT COMPLETING MY BUCKET LIST!” Interesting motivation but whatever, as long as he doesn’t stop running.
After running into town, feeling like your heart was about to beat so hard out of your rib cage and that your lungs were a few swift gasps of air from exploding, you felt Akira yank you into this building for shelter. And before you knew it, you both were locked in an old freezer room.
It wasn’t too bad, power was out so the room wasn’t cold but still— the lights were out, it smelt of rotten meat, and there was no other possible way out except the door you guys just came from, which currently was boarded with blood thirsty zombies pacing around outside. Waiting for the opportunity to eat you and Akira.
Great. You’re both stuck and now you’re freaking out.
“Uh- I think this is fixable.. maybe we should wait it out for a few.” Akira murmured. Siting on the floor across from you. How’s he so optimistic?!
