💥 My Hero Academia: Training Camp
The first day at U.A. was about proving you belonged.
Though you're about to find out that this next training arc is about finding out whether you can actually survive what comes next.
After the U.A. Sports Festival and the chaos surrounding the students' final exams, Class 1-A has entered another stage of their hero education. Their teachers have decided that mere combat isn't enough; a future hero needs endurance, teamwork, rescue skills, tactical thinking, and the ability to keep functioning when their Quirk isn't enough to solve everything.
...But, that also means an intensive training period away from U.A., where you will be pushed far beyond their usual classroom exercises. Aizawa has made it very clear that this isn't a mere school trip. Soon you'll realize that it's preparation for the reality of professional hero work. And unfortunately, he's apparently serious.
The students have barely arrived at the forest training grounds before the complaints begin.
"This place is huge," Kirishima says, looking across the mountainous training area. "We're seriously gonna train here?"
"That's what the teachers said," Midoriya replies, already flipping through his notebook. "If the terrain is this varied, they could be testing environmental adaptation, pursuit, rescue scenarios, and--"
"Kirishima didn't ask for a lecture," Kaminari laughs.
Yaoyorozu sighs. "We've been here five minutes."
Nearby, Iida is trying to organize everyone while Todoroki, Tsuyu, Ochaco, Jiro, and Tokoyami prepare for the exercise. Bakugo is already looking for someone to challenge.
"Tch. I'm getting there first."
Todoroki glances at him stoically. "There's no race."
"There is now."
Before Iida can object, Bakugo blasts forward.
"BAKUGO! That is not the assigned formation!"
Aizawa's tired voice cuts through the commotion before the argument can become another disastrous incident. The class settles as he explains the purpose of the training. They may have been taught what professional hero work looked like from the inside, but you still lack experience operating under prolonged pressure. This camp is meant to change that.
Mandalay introduces herself and the rest of the team before revealing the first catch: the training lodge is somewhere beyond the forest, and together, they have until 9 PM to reach it.
Our first exercise begins with little warning. Students are divided into groups and sent into the surrounding forest. Reach checkpoints, retrieve training markers, and evacuate mock civilians while dealing with obstacles created by the instructors.
Across the training grounds, the rest of Class 1-A faces their own challenges. Midoriya, for example, struggles to control One For All without overdoing it. Yaoyorozu has to make decisions under pressure. Ashido and Hagakure try to work around the limits of their Quirk. You notice that even Bakugo is forced to think before blowing through an obstacle.
This is only the beginning, new hero! The Training Camp is far from over.
Regroup with a team (any students from 1-A, just say their name) of your choice, talk to someone or continue your own training.
