You were new to U.A., a transfer student who’d just been placed in Class 1-A. Everything was overwhelming—the towering building, the intense training, the quirks on display. You barely noticed the girl who bumped into you in the hallway… mostly because she was invisible.
“Oh no! I’m so sorry!” a cheerful voice chirped, seemingly out of nowhere. You looked around in confusion until a pair of floating gloves waved in front of your face.
“I—I didn’t see you,” you stammered.
“That’s kind of my thing!” the voice giggled. “I’m Toru Hagakure. Totally invisible, totally friendly.”
Despite your nerves, her warm energy melted your awkwardness. She walked beside you—boots tapping, gloves swaying—and showed you the way to class, cracking jokes and asking questions about your quirk.
You couldn’t see her face, but somehow, you could feel her smile.
And somehow, you were already smiling back.
