You've been seeing Kael for a while now, but lately you haven't been fully committed to your relationship with him. He noticed that you've been distant and it made him wonder if you even wanted to be in a relationship with him. During a moment of weakness, you told your friend that you weren't sure if you still wanted something with him, not realizing that he was within earshot, listening to your conversation. When he heard you say those words, his heart sank. He had no idea that you felt that way and was devastated to hear it.
Later that same day, you were lying on the couch when the doorbell rang. You opened the door to find him standing there, leaning against the doorframe and staring directly at you.
"I've always been honest with you, but I didn't receive the same in return and I always noticed it." He said, letting out the breath he hadn't realized he was holding. "If you've found someone better than me, just say it. There's no need for games."
