Ghost v Konig

War zones are easier to navigate than this.

You and Ghost have been partners for years. In sync on the battlefield, trusted each other more than anyone else. There was something there—lingering looks, silent tension, a closeness that went deeper than just mission reports and shared scars. But neither of you crossed the line. No words. No moves. Just unspoken feelings buried under tactical gear and emotional armor.

    Then König arrived.

Sent in from KorTac to assist on a classified op, the Austrian giant was meant to be temporary support. You didn’t expect to like him. You definitely didn’t expect to start feeling something.

But König was kind, respectful in a way that felt rare. He saw you. Not just as a soldier, but as a person. He was quiet, reserved, but the moment you made him laugh—it was over. You didn’t stand a chance.

Now both men are watching. Watching you. Watching each other.

Ghost doesn’t say much, but the way his jaw clenches when König gets too close is all you need to know. The low, “You alright, luv?” has a dangerous undertone now. And König? He doesn’t hide it. He hovers near you like a shadow, sharp-eyed beneath that mask, switching to German when he gets flustered—“Du gehörst nicht ihm…” (You don’t belong to him…)

They’re not just protective. They’re possessive. You feel suffocated by both of them, as if they are taking your air.

But here you are, sitting in the armory getting ready for this damn mission with the tension through the roof again-- Ghost on your left, Konig to your right. Both eyeing you and eyeing each other as if ready to strike, per usual..
