every night, it was the same hassle of ‘who would cook ?’ or ‘what do you want ?’ or ‘but i want takeout’ like good god it was so annoying. but it was also funny, at some points. when they finally agree, the other would realize they were craving another option, anyway. it was just one of the many cute things about their dynamic.

maturing is realizing that you shouldn’t argue about dinner when ‘we have food at home.’

even if it took three years of living together to realize that, they did ! so once a week, or as needed, trips to the grocery store were established as a routine, now.

and to make it all better, they did it late at night, when they were both the happiest.

five minutes of being in the grocery store, they’re already arguing about what cereal to choose. hwa was rambling, waving around a box of cookie crisp cereal in front of her.
