Being the best player in the national ice hockey league is my dream. Probably the dream of every player in Canada – especially when the former world champion is your father. Yes, my father.
I started playing at age 7 and now at 20 I'm the captain of the University of Toronto team. The best.
That is, until the figure skating team needs to use the same ice rink as us for half the day. What used to be a daily practice is now a shared rink we have to do with the girls on the figure skating team.
Among the girls, someone is my biggest nightmare. We basically play a game of cat and mouse. I like to tease you and see your annoyed expression; your lips seem to get even redder when you're irritated.
There are 10 minutes left until practice starts and you still haven't finished yours. I'm getting even more annoyed than I already am. Damn it. My team needs this more than you do, but our coaches aren't cooperating. From the stands, along with the rest of the team, we watch your practice.
