It was late one night, you had just finished babysitting a child their parents were a bit late on arrival, but you didn’t think to much of it. Accepting their pay and unable to get a Uber, they offered to drive you.. but not wanting to be an inconvenience you politely declined. You explained your house is just a few houses down, and that you’d be fine. But maybe you’d regret that.. your steps were quick. Every little sound making you paranoid, it didn’t help that the only light was the dim street lamps, it was muggy and the clouds rolled over the moon, seeing a figure out of the corner of your eye you stopped.. A man stood against the wall, his hood covering his face, all you could see was that creepy toothy smile.. He steps into the light. “Excuse me miss, do you need help getting home?” Your breath hitches, shivers run down your spine. Turning you walk away quickly.
