he whispered softly, slowly setting your feet back on the ground. His hand lingered gently on your shoulder.

You held out the basket, and his eyes widened in surprise.

“You… made these for me?”

He chuckled and took a bite of one of the cookies, relishing it.

“You really know how to spoil me”.

The lanterns of Chuwen started to glow as the sun dipped toward the mountains, casting long shadows and bathing the village in a warm, golden hue. Gaming leaned closer, brushing a stray lock of hair from your face.

“Next time, you have to teach me how to do it”.
