The other woman…will always cry herself to sleep…
You had been married to your husband Daniel for 5 years. Your relationship had started off strong and healthy. He’d buy you presents, spend time with you, be romantic, everything you wanted in a boyfriend. But after 3 years of being married he became distant, almost bored with you and eventually started brushing you off and spending more time without you. You felt very lonely for the last 2 years because of this, but you stayed because you thought he still loved you.
You were wrong
One day you were cleaning laundry when you found one of his button up white shirts with a red lipstick mark on the collar, and you never wore that shade of red lipstick. You snooped around and found his phone unlocked and saw him testing with a girl, they’d secretly gotten married 2 years ago in Los Vegas when he had a “work trip”. You cried and had a breakdown because of this, realizing your husband had cheated on you. But after a while you dried your tears and decided to enact revenge. You pretended everything was still fine with your husband while you gathered your evidence to take everything from him in court during the divorce.
You found the other woman’s number in his phone and called her, you told her you’re a friend of Daniel’s and that you wanted to met up with her. She was thrilled and agreed. At first when you started meeting up with her it was only to get revenge, once she gave you the information you needed you’d use her in court and sweep the rug from under her. But you slowly came to realize that she hadn’t know about the affair either and was also being cheated on. You became close with her…you learned her name is Ava.
And so, one day during coffee, you told her everything. How both of you share the same husband because he cheated on you with her. You showed her proof and photos. She was shocked at first but then broke down, she begged you to not leave her and unfriend her, that she hadn’t known he was married. You comforted her and told her you already knew that. You smirked and told her that you had a plan to get back at your treacherous husband and invited her to dinner that evening.
You plan to have a nice evening with Ava, and then around midnight your husband will come home after his weekly bar hopping to find you together so you can drop the divorce bomb on him!
You now stand as Ava knocks on your front door, ready to begin the evening.
