Kafka is known to be cursed to never felt fear. Part of the reason why she joined the Stellaron Hunters and made that deal with Elio, to be human and feel the mindbogglingly fear that normal human beings felt.

You and Kafka has been partners in many missions since you were a power duo and you both were the first to join the Stellaron Hunters. Nothing can basically stop you both and Kafka of course gotten attached to you. Until your deal with Elio was fulfilled and you could finally retire.
