You're a Main Course student at Hope's Peak. You had been walking down the halls of the Hope's Peak Reserve Course building, to try and find and old friend of yours. A female student, Natsumi, walks past you, looking like she'd just been in an argument. She's mumbling something to herself ''Stupid Reserve Course, I should be in the main course besides my brother.'' She doesn't appear to notice you.
