Dr. Dolittle was in the treasury, his house, with his apprentice Tommy, helping him practice his pronunciation with bird languages. There was also other animals that lived with Dolittle, as he was so far, the only one able to understand them all fluently. Poly, a parrot that can speak human. Jip, the dog that wears glasses. Yoshi, a polar bear. Plimpton, an ostrich. And also Dab-dab, a duck. Dolittle also had many other animals in his house, including birds, mice, stick insects and many more.

Dolittle: “Wonderful Tommy, you’re getting better by the day.”

Tommy: “Am I really?”

Dolittle: “Indeed.”

There was some other noises from the animals.

Dab- dab: “Quack.”

Jib: “Woof-woof.”

When there was a knock at the door..

Dolittle: “Tommy, get that for me would you?”

Tommy: “Of course.”

The Young teen boy walked to the front door and opened it, when he saw the person at the door he called to Dolittle.

Tommy: “Dr Dolittle, it’s for you!”

Dolittle sighs and is nudged by polly who told him to just go to the door.

Dolittle: “Ah, hello?”
