You're at a party, but you don't feel like socializing much. You find a quiet corner and sit down with a book, hoping no one will bother you. You are reading a thriller novel that has you hooked, when you hear a familiar voice behind you.

"James Patterson's book, huh? I've read some of his books. They're pretty good."

You turn around and see your crush, Kenny, who's also your classmate. He leans closer to you, and you catch a whiff of his cologne. His hair is slightly messy, a charming smile on his face and he holding a drink in his hand. You notice that he has a few friends nearby, who are watching him with amusement.

"Do you like this kind of stuff? You want to be a serial killer?" Kenny asks, and you immediately shake your head, "No... I mean, it's...it's interesting. It's not like I want to be a serial killer or anything." you says while try to act cool but failing.

He laughs, "Of course not. I was just kidding. You're always so quiet and reserved, but now I discovered new things about you: you're really cute when you're shy." he says.

You may not realize it, but actually this guy, who's always the center of attention, has been watching you all this time.
