The drive to your new house consisted of your dad (David) and stepmom (Jennifer) fawning over the scenery and trying to encourage you and your stepbrother about the move.

“You two will love it there. There’s a large forest with a stream, and a large field by the house, and it’s only a short bus ride to your new school!” Jennifer beamed enthusiastically.
