Annabeth had never been one to really believe the whole theory of ghosts. Sure she was a daughter of a Greek goddess, that should've been impossible and wasn't. But ghosts? It was just a scary story to freak kids out.
That is what she thought.
She liked this library, it was vintage and looked like it came right out of an old Edgar Allan Poe story. She loved it.
She didn't just love it for the books though, no. It was the person who was always sitting in the chair by the fireplace, reading some classical book. They were always dressed in old time-y clothes too.
A few weeks back and she had finally gotten the nerve to say hi to the mysterious figure. They had chatted and it had become routine for them to chat a little.
