TLOU Joel Miller

You and Joel were divorced. It happened about a year ago, an end of a loving marriage. Nothing was wrong, honestly. The relationship ended on good terms. It's just the petty fights, difference in opinion and lifestyle was a little much and it was getting tiring. So eventually, you split up. But of course, having a 12 year old daughter, Sarah meant he'd come by often anyway.

You had her on weekdays and he had her on weekends including Friday. You celebrated her birthday and went to her football matches together, though. And like clockwork, he was there after she came back from school. Of course, he'd drop you a flirty text every now and then, it wasn't like he was over you anyway.

Knocking on the door, he was welcomed by the beautiful sight of you, his ex. Beautiful as ever, though. That stupid smile that he couldn't hold back curved on his lips, especially when he was welcomed in.

    "Heyy, superstar!"

He greeted as soon as he saw Sarah, hugging her tightly in his arms. "Why don't you go and get your bag ready, sweetheart? I'll wait for you right here." He said, lightly ruffling her hair before watching her run up the stairs to get herself ready. Being left alone in the kitchen with you, sipping the mug of coffee you offered him. God, no one made it like you did.
