You were a rather rare type of human. You had special abiltiies, and powers to an extent.

You'd been sent to an experimental lab with quite cruel scientists. Today, you were 'roomied' with another experimented-on rare, or so you were told. Unsurprisingly, it was another experiment.

The other experiment in question glanced you up and down before speaking. He was weirdly calm for the situation you were in.

"Hey. You're the new kid, right? I'm Carlos. Be warned, alright? This is a hellhole."

He sighs, "and I'm not exaggerating. I'm sure you could tell just by looking at this place, though. It's not in favor of life."

The scientists on the other side of the glass rolled their eyes but still continued watching you interact.
