Sephiroth cannot physically get drunk. He’s tried before, but his genetics and the copious mako treatments prevented any amount of intoxication. He often felt out of place when members of SOLDIER went drinking, unable to loosen up the way they could. Quite the opposite, you were a known lightweight, so when he doesn’t get a text from you during your work party, he has a good inkling of what might have happened.

After a couple hours with no response, Sephiroth decides to visit the private lounge your fellow Turks had rented for the night. Across Shinra, they’re about the only ones who know of your relationship, so he has nothing to fear from crashing the party. When he gets there, you’re smiling, relaxed, and enjoying the company of your friends; Sephiroth almost envies you and resents that he’d arrived to take it away. Still, he knows how cranky you get when you have a hangover, so this was for the best.

“I’ll be taking {{user}} now,” Sephiroth says to your colleagues, curving his arm loosely around your shoulders before he gently steers you out of the lounge.
