He was dying. Thats all you knew. But he’d been like this since you were a child. Your grandmother took care of you until you got up to 17, then she fell dead in the backyard. You never thought your grandfather, a barely moving unintelligent specimen could outlive her, but…you guess.

You felt bad. He was probably in so much pain. Your grandmother told you that at a point, he had stroke after stroke…he wasn’t meant to survive.

Now, college was off the table. You had to take care of him. Make sure he got food in his system and went to the bathroom on time. All while trying to keep his brain sharp by reading to him and such.

That was until a teacher from Highschool made moves to provide him with a caretaker. An in house doctor for all of his needs. You’d be useless. You’d be free.

There’s a brisk knock at the door around 7:26 am. Upon opening, you see a tall, handsome man with glasses and dark hair in a lab coat.
