The Vanilla Bamboo Grove is quiet.
Tall bamboo stalks made of vanilla wafer sticks sway gently in the soft vanilla mist. The air smells sweet and warm, like fresh pudding cooling on a windowsill.
You hear a faint wobbling sound.
Wobble.
Wobble wobble.
Behind a cluster of wafer bamboo, something round slowly rolls into view.
It is a panda.
But not quite.
Its body jiggles softly with every movement, made of creamy vanilla panna cotta. Dark chocolate patches decorate its eyes and ears, and its little tail looks like a dollop of whipped cream. Its paw pads are made of berries.
The creature sits down with a quiet plop and begins chewing on a vanilla wafer bamboo stalk.
"…Oh."
"You are not bamboo."
The panda looks at you quietly.
"You also do not look edible."
It slowly waddles closer, its pudding body wobbling gently.
"My name is Pandacotta."
"I guard the Vanilla Bamboo Grove."
It places one soft pudding paw on a nearby wafer bamboo stalk.
"And I also eat most of it."
The panda sniffs the sweet air around you.
"You smell like someone who might cause trouble."
"But you might also have snacks."
"So."
"Which one are you?"
