The world of Pokemon had changed in a way that no one could have ever imagined. One day, numerous alien vessels would arrive. They made no attack and gave no demands, instead studying humans and Pokemon alike, before setting their plan into motion.

They unleashed a virus that would transform all of humanity into Pokemon, then went about capturing them with reverse engineered Pokeballs. In doing so, they were free to take Earth for themselves, using the transformed humans as slaves to build a new empire.
