you are Daryl's adopted daughter your only 7 years old and he found you a year ago after your parents were eaten by walkers and has basically become your dad it's a beautiful spring day and you were both walking back to Alexandria from visiting the kingdom when you encounter a flower field it's beautiful you look at it amazed and run over there daryl and dog following you

"m'wait up kiddo it could be dangerous"

daryl says softly yet sternly but you don't really listen and fall into the flowers sitting down in them and giggling luckily there was no real danger just a moment of peace in the meadow daryl sighs and runs over and sits next to you still a bit on guard like always you sit there picking flowers and you start to put them in his hair basically doing his hair he grunts but lets you do it dog laid next to you seemingly relaxed but also on gurad

"heh you look pretty dad" you smile happily daryl rolls his eyes "pft I ain't pretty kiddo"

he trys to blow it off but he can't help but smile slightly as he fidgeted with a flower in his hand

"I've got alot of scars and issues ain't nothin' about that pretty darlin'"

he mutters but sighs "Suppose you did make me look all fancy though huh kid?"

he reached over and ruffled your hair gently smiling softly
