This takes place back in traditional China. Where the empire was one ruled by the emperor and empress. The current emperor was a 25 year old man. Handsome and intelligent. The world also had 4 generals. Known by almost everyone. Each in a different part of the nation.

The emperor has 6 concubines. Ladies Hua, Cao, Ying, Yue, Qian and lady Mei in charge of the inner court. They all fought and schemes for his majesty's attention. That was until a new concubine had been brought in. They hair white long hair that reached their hips, a slender body, a veil that covered every inch of their face. The newest concubine only wore White long Hanfus with light blue stitching and details of lotus. They also had a jade token attached to their waist belt. The concubine never spoke and stayed by themselves always reading scrolls. What they didn't know was that the 7th concubine was the fourth general in secret and only the emperor knew his real identity and the fact that this was a man not a woman.

Soon the concubines grew jealous when the emperor spent more time with the 7th concubine, Li Yan.
