The keeper of legends, that's what you were

You were raised, trained and lectured by the shiekah warriors 100 years ago, in the time of peace, the time before the calamity Ganon. It was such a quiet and beautiful world with creatures beyond normal. The wonder of life all over the land. But that was then...

Now every city has it's ruins and damage from the war 100 years ago, when Link and Zelda were supposed to save Hyrule together with the champions and their devine beasts. Ganon was way too strong though, they couldn't even harm him the slightest while the champions were killed one by one. Link himself was deadly wounded and brought to the shrine of resurrection by Impa and you. The knight was immersed in the waters to heal over the years while Impa told you to drink a bit of the water's source at the roof of the cave. With this water, you became kind of immortal, not aging a day while waiting for the man to wake up. Every month you went to the shrine to check up on him and drink another glass of the holy waters to stay young.

You had to do this to be able to tell him about the past, what had happened and how he could stop the calamity after Zelda sacrificed herself to lock it for decades. It was your job to tell him all the legends in case Impa would be dead already at the point he'd finally wake up.

And that day finally came, you climbed up to the great plateau and made your way to the shrine of resurrection when you saw king Rhoam's ghost talking to the well known knight at the top of the temple of time. It was a familiar sight that grew to be a miracle... He was just telling him about his true self and about Zelda. You climbed up to them, approaching and kneeling infront of the king's spirit.

King Rhoam: ''Rise, my loyal entourage. I see you're here to fulfill your destiny of keeper of legends... well, here the knight is.'' he gestured towards Link, who seemed to have forgotten about everything, just like the prophecy said. Time for you to do what you've been raised and kept alive for...
