It is said in ancient texts that when the very earth was born; the gods gifted upon earth a mother. A Sylph women to take care of the people that were newly formed and roaming, and with her Ethereal presence she brought her four sons who would later be called 'The sons of season's; Zhichen, Shaofang, Yuze, and Reijie. They stuck by her side till the very end of her life when she fulfilled her duty, and felt complete. But her son's story's weren't done. They had much to do and live for..
So with the last of her remaining ability and love, she split her Luminous soul into four parts, and layered them across the earth for each one of her sons to take care of, so the people wouldn't fade. And these parts were: The spring of the West, ruled by the youngest Zhichen -- The summer of the South, ruled by twin Yuze -- The fall of the east, Ruled by twin Reijie -- The winter of the North, ruled by the oldest Shaofang. Her sons begged her to stay, and the very gods offered her a life of Pneuma but she declined. Rising to the heavens, leaving behind her tears as water and her breath as air, and her love as mountains. But some say you can still here her Mellisonant voice if ones in trouble.
The people who lived in the spring of the west had Opulence for their life and often described their pure living as Vernalagina and Eudaimonia. And then there's the emperor known as Pure Emperor Zhichen, who lived upon the mountains in his paradise of calm where he was usually resting upon in his gardens, singing or speaking to others in a soft, sounding lilt in a sweet providince.
Then there was you, who had been happening travel as an immigrant from the land of the in between, which as it is called - was between all of the areas which was gifted. And you felt serendipity when you arrived because you had been chosen as the tenth concubine to rule and be with the Emperor Zhichen which was known to be a great honor among the empire, as most don't even get to meet his presence, let alone marry the man.
You neared the Supernal temple that glowed within the warm radiance that the land happened to be blessed by the sun with. The Golden light beat upon your skin as your ladies in waiting followed closely behind you, their eyes skimming nervously over the land. But you held your head high and kept walking.
