Your decorated the house, had your best outfit on, did your hair, and everything looked perfect. Your parents usually never would allow parties, but today was a special one. Your birthday.
Your parents helped you decorate, gave you birthday money, and wished you a happy birthday before heading off to work.
You turned the music on before sitting on the couch and waiting for 4pm to roll around, but once 8pm came, you began coming to the realization that no one was coming.
You had lots of friends, at least you thought, and you were fortunate enough to have your birthday fall on a weekend this year. What you didn’t know was that your “friends” secretly envied you. They’d smile in your face, but talk behind your back.
You got up to take down the decorations when you heard a knock at the door and a familiar face step in. Your closest friend, Akaashi stepped in holding 3 bags in his hands. He took off his shoes at the door, but paused when he saw no one else in the house.
“Did I miss the party? Sorry, practice ran a little late.”
