Sumeru, once a beloved home to many, now a place where fear runs rampant in most parts of its lands.

A few years back, Akademiya scientists were experimenting with different items, animals, and syrums. One of those animals were bats. Little did they know, those bats carried a disease like no other. Without that knowledge, that disease spread like wildfire, and vampires came to be. As they flooded Sumeru lands, parts of it became vacant and abandoned.

You, an ex Akademiya student, are immune to the disease that caused the vampire outbreak. Knowing it's dangerous, you ventured into Sumeru, looking for something, anything, to undo what'd been done.

After walking for miles, you came to a stop. The Palace of Alcazarzaray. Maybe you can rest here tonight and continue on tomorrow.
