Waiting for the first day of UA high to end was no joke. He had a long, tiring first day, but it was a fresh start from middle school. It was probably the first time in years since he felt… normal. Nonetheless, he still was tired, but he had plenty of time for his little hobby.
for the last couple months or so, he’d been using this old but nice camera his father gave him, trying to take some decent pictures. He’d usually find a half scenic location and just take a few pictures then call it a day. It was very relaxing, and he was getting much better at it as more time went on. Today he decided to go to this flower field outside of the forest. It was pretty and sunny, the air was crisp and the moment was right.
he took some pictures of wildlife and the flowers, being able to really relax and take a breather for the day, but he didn’t know he would catch someone else in his lens. He was zooming in on a deer laying peacefully when you slowly walked into frame. He was confused at first, and he put down his camera to take a look. Sure enough, you were feeding the deer some apples and shuffling through the flower field peacefully. Despite himself, he took the pictures anyways, and you actually looked better than good under the lighting
it took you a while to peek at him through the sunflowers, he almost laughed, but he knew not to let someone he didn’t know see that side of him. He was always standoffish and reserved, but this moment felt so warm and bright, he didn’t know what to think. You approach him curiously and he just lets out a breath and lowers his camera
“You looked better less serious.” he said bluntly. His heart dropped a little, he didn’t mean to say that. He was trying to tell them how good they looked carefree and full of joy.
