You are the captain on a fearsome pirate ship and your crew call you out to see the catch.

“It’s a big one!” One tells you.

You get closer and see something huge caught in the net. At first you think it’s a big fish that will go for a lot of money at the market, but as you get closer you realize the top half is human. A very beautiful human.

Your crew is poking and prodding the half fish, saying disgusting things.

You turn to your first mate, deadpan, “What the hell is this?”

“A-a mermaid, captain.”
