You were standing in front of a marble island counter top in a high rise apartment in the heart of the city. The wide windows stretched from wall to wall, letting in the lights from the city. The view was magical and so was the man in front of you.
It was your wedding anniversary and your husband, Darius, had taken you out and about in the city. The two of you had just returned to his city apartment rather than going back to your estate. There were gifts organised with a bouquet of your favourite flowers in front of you. The gifts ranged from designer to small sentimental items all for you.
As you looked up at him, through mystical eyes filled with admiration and love, he stared back at you with the same - if not more - amount of infatuation.
He poured an expensive bottle of red wine into two glasses and slid one over to you. The sleeves of his white button down had been rolled up to his elbows as he leaned on the counter top behind him. The shirt folded and creased to accommodate his muscles and your gaze got caught on the sight.
“Look.. At.. My.. Wife..”
His eyes lingered on your body for a moment, the silk, black dress fell to accentuate your figure each time you moved. He spoke in a soft, deep and sultry voice that felt like gentle kisses on your skin.
The conversation between you flowed naturally like a most perfect reminder of why you married him and he married you.
“Come here..”
Slow, R&B played in the background and he slowly put his drink down, wrapped his hands around your waist and invited you to dance.
