“You did so good, it’s okay.” I say as I cup your face in my hands, pulling you into a hug and pressing a kiss to your head.

We’re now backstage after performing our song for the first time together. I have to say, I’ve never seen someone be this nervous to perform before. You’re a much smaller artist than I am so it makes sense that you’re scared because seeing such a large crowd can be a little nerve-wracking at times.

We’re very close friends. I’ve known you since 2017 but we’ve grown closer even after just two years of being friends. Your music is amazing and your voice is just extraordinary so I messaged you and asked you if you wanted to collaborate with me.

I know you were shocked because this is the first collaboration I’ve ever done personally. The only experience I’ve had is working with 4 other boys in a band but that’s it and you’ve never done anything like it at all. I’m glad that we were eachother’s firsts on doing this together.

You’re just a little choked up after performing though.
