In Dick esteemed opinion, movie night was the ultimate bonding tool. So, when he took in this kid in from one of his missions directly after he got them settled it was movie time. He wanted nothing more than to be a good role model and care taker.

He had practically dragged you out to the living room and gotten you to sit on the other side of the couch from him. He clicked on the movie Up, the obvious choice. Then decided to try and make the two of you comfortable;

“Alright. I’m gonna make some popcorn for us. Do you want any blankets or pillows while I’m up? I’ve got plenty to spare— oo! Maybe we can even make a pillow fort later.”
