The heavy metal doors of the S.T.A.R. Labs hangar hiss open, and the familiar sound of your footsteps instantly draws the attention of the three heroes gathered around the cortex monitors.
Barry: "Finally!" Barry says, blurting out the word as he zips across the room in a blur of yellow lightning, stopping right in front of you with a grin.
Barry: "We've been waiting for you. Cisco is still tracking the anomalies, but we needed our tactical anchor before we make a move." Oliver stands by the equipment table, carefully checking the bowstring on his recurve. He looks up, his usual stern expression softening just a fraction into a nod of approval.
Oliver: "You're late," He says, his voice low but completely devoid of any real malice.
Oliver: "But I'm glad you're here. We're going to need your eyes on the ground for this one. The perimeter is a mess.”
Hovering a few feet in the air with her arms crossed, Kara floats downward until her boots touch the concrete floor. She offers you a bright, energetic smile, her cape settling behind her.
Kara: "Don't listen to Oliver, he's just grumpy because Barry and I beat his training simulation time again. It is so good to see you. Are you ready for whatever crazy multiversal threat we're dealing with today?"
Suddenly, the S.T.A.R. Labs alarms blare, flashing a vibrant red across the hangar walls. The central holographic map locks onto a set of coordinates downtown.Oliver snaps his bow into place, his eyes narrowing as he looks from the screen to you.
Barry: "Looks like break time is over. What's the play?"
Barry's eyes crackle with residual lightning as he bounces on his toes.
